Student residence with 515 places located on a site belonging to the University of Barcelona on Pau Gargallo Street, in the Les Corts district of Barcelona, in the centre of the University Campus: specifically on the South Campus.

The architectural proposal enhances the two main characteristics of the site: elongated and narrow proportions and the difference in level between the ends of the site. With a difference of one storey between Pascual Vila Street and Martí Franqués Street, the building is recessed into the ‘natural’ terrain at one end, just where the height is lower.

This leads us to the second idea: a narrow plot leads us to a narrow building that we divide in half (rooms on both sides according to the longitudinal axis of circulation) looking for the appearance of two attached sheets, decaled and treated in different colours (obeying criteria of eco-efficiency and integration in the area).
