This is a building from the first stage of the development of 22@, with the uncertainties that this part of the city was beginning its transformation and in which the promoters had their doubts. Projects with very contained costs, offering diaphanousness, efficiency and surfaces that are difficult to find in the city centre.

The L-shaped building, aligned on the roads and opening up inside the block, generating a small square. Functionally, the nucleus is located on the ball and socket joint, allowing different commercial options and easy access to the change of heights, as well as providing an important terrace.

The façade on Pere IV, a very busy and untidy street, is voluntarily closed with a double skin, made of the same material as the rest of the building. The interior façade opens onto the square.

Given the heights and building typologies of the neighbours, there is an exercise in harmonisation, staggering and adjustment of forms in order to integrate the new building, which has a large volume, into a smaller-scale environment. The formal proposal seeks contrast and identity.

The ground floor is very transparent, allowing a view of the interior of the block and also has a passage in the chamfer that recalls the typical passages of industrial areas.
