Transformation of the industrial site built in 1962, which occupied the former BRAUN factory in Esplugues de Llobregat.

The intervention has focused on preserving all or part of the original buildings, the main one of large dimensions and built at the time when Dieter Rams was in charge of the company’s architecture and which exudes BAUHAUS school, as well as the industrial building of which we highlight its unique and slender concrete trusses. The rest has been left as an open urbanised and landscaped space to promote outdoor activity, converting the former industrial site into a campus for research, innovation and economic activity.

We highlight the recovery of the original structural and compositional elements, as well as the creation of the large central atrium that provides natural light and transparency in the rest of the building.

Committed to promoting sustainable architecture, this office building has achieved LEED Platinum certification.

This project is part of Conren Tramway’s strategy to regenerate and reposition unique buildings in Barcelona, adapting them to the current needs of society.

A project that combines industrial heritage and innovation, with a strong commitment to sustainability and the wellbeing of its users.
