Isolated building of 5 dwellings located on a plot of complex geometry in Reina Victoria street in Barcelona. Very close to the neighboring buildings and with a significant unevenness that exists between this street and Via Augusta, it was decided to remove it from the street facade, leaving a community garden that acts as a filter. The ground plan geometry is adapted to the building limits, integrating naturally into the environment of isolated buildings.

The building, with a first floor and four upper floors, has one dwelling per floor, of more than 200 m², and two parking levels. The façade, made of white potted concrete, is characterized by a formal simplicity, with terraces that contrast the white of the building with the shadows, glass and aluminum. This combination creates a play of light and shadow that gives depth to the building. Combining it with large solid planes and windows in changes of plane.

It is a project that generates the doubt of its position, but ends up being understood as the best option, and once inside the houses, the doubt disappears.
