Volpelleres 86

A promotion of 86 ground floor flats and commercial premises located in a prime location in the Volpelleres neighbourhood of Sant Cugat del Vallés, just opposite the railway station.

This is a project by CULMIA, which set us the challenge of achieving a quality building, with a single common space and maintaining the planning criteria of the environment: play of volumes as a coherent whole, buildings that adapt to the topography of the terrain and linked by the ground floor. All of this with a visual unity that makes the whole recognisable from the surroundings and, at the same time, housing of the highest quality and with the best possible orientation.

The project is developed on a discontinuous plot by means of two highly differentiated volumetries but united through the treatment of the façade – a combination of exposed brickwork and natural colours – and the treatment of the balconies – a continuous ribbon that generates them and, at the same time, joins them together.
