Plaça Europa

20-storey housing tower in Plaza Europa, with a total of 95 two- and three-bedroom flats, five per floor. The building has a square floor plan measuring 24.6 × 24.6 metres, with balconies on the south-east and north-east facades.

The project takes up the challenge of typological quality in height, starting from a compact geometry. It opts for a central core with two symmetrically arranged staircases, which allows a clear distribution: three flats on one side and two on the other, placing the three-bedroom flats in a corner position.

Volumetrically, the tower is broken down into two parts: a set-back body, without balconies, made of prefabricated grey concrete; and volumes projected outwards that define the balconies on the façades, formed by pieces of textured white concrete.
