The former La Siberia ice factory is part of the catalogue of industrial buildings of the Historical and Artistic Architectural Heritage of Poblenou in Barcelona. It is an enclosure completely filled by the main building and the warehouses. The transformation project proposes organising the dwellings (lofts) around a central courtyard, this being the central part of the proposal. The different typologies of structure (rehabilitated or restored) provide a range of solutions aimed at showing these differences and enriching the whole. What is worth highlighting is the investigation of open spaces complementary to the dwellings with different qualities.

On the other hand, the building has obtained the BREEAM seal for sustainable construction, reaffirming the commitment to the preservation of the environment and the development of responsible architecture.
